Mazda smart key auto unlock mistery
Would a mazda 6 with the smart entry/key automatically unlock the driver's door if the car' battery went down ? I found my door unlocked in the morning and the battery had gone down during the night. The battery going down was caused by a light left on in the car although I have no recollection of turning the light on before leaving the car.
The other three doors were locked which means I did centrally lock the car yesterday !? So why was the driver's door unlocked ? The battery had gone down and when I pulled the driver's door it just opened as if it was unlocked. Normally when you pull the door there is a slight delay before the central locking unlocks the whole car, but with the battery down maybe this is expected behavior and the driver's door opens as if unlocked ?!?
The weirdest thing is that I have a yellow stick to clean the car from snow and ice and this normally lives on the floor at the front passenger. This morning the stick was placed right next to the gear-stick on the central console . I have completely no recollection of placing it there and then why would I ? I don't have an amnesia or anything, just baffled and feels like someone was in the car and moved it there from the floor ? . If someone was in the car, they stole nothing not even a navigation system in the glovebox. If they were meaning to steal the car how could they have opened the front door only without any damage ?!?
