Mazda6 2003 wagon - pulls right
Hi, I just bought a used Mazda 6 wagon 2.0, year 2003. I love the car and it is fun to drive.
Driving on straight highways it seems however the car is pulling a bit to the right. I have had it checked twice at a cerified Mazda garage. They have performed some kind of update on it as the pulling to right obvisouly was a known phenomenon.
Now it has become a little bit better. But i alwyas feel I have to be very active and really hold the steering wheel and keep it going straight. SOmetimes it's fine and then it starts to want to go right.
I have a new set of four four Firestone Firehawk TZ 200 205/55 R16 91V tires. SHould be the right tires I hope?
Checked tre pressure. Identical left right etc.
Is the Mazda6 unusual in some way in regards to steering and its ability to just steer straight on the road?
I compared with a few other cars and it seems like the Mazda6 is the one that requires you to always actively steer it.
Perhaps is this why it is more fun to drive fast on curved roads etc. it is EASY to steer it. But ion straight highway roads it feels like it is sort of "floating", like it drifts easily left and right. And especially to the RIGHT.
Anyone? Any ideas of what my next step should be to get this right? Known problem with Mazda6 2003?
Best & thanks in advance,
Lars
