Mazda6 compatible wheel
Hello All,
I am the first time owner of a '05 Mazda 6i (Sport) with stock 17in. alloy wheels. I am looking at relacing the wheels with a compatible 17in. at a medium price. Are the Ford Fusion alloys offset OK? ... also any recommendations are welcome.
Thank you in advance,
George B

RE: Mazda6 compatible wheel
Hmmm.... Well, the 6 is a little difficult. The OE offset is +60mm (a lot!!) which is nearly impossible in an AM wheel.
You could probably go to +50mm but you may also experience some weird handling in extreme situations. You would be pushing the wheels out toward the fender a total of 1.27" (.635"x 2.)

Not to thread-jack...
Thought you meant Forest Ave. for a second...I'm out in SI, where there's a Myrtle Avenue as well. And, as you can see, I don't actually own a Mazda, nor am I a fan of the BQE tbh with you. However, since you're in Queens, you should try to get into contact with Speedy3 (Haroon), he lives in Queens somewhere and has a Speed 3.

Hello VB,
FYI. I am finding out that the Ford Fusion has a different offset than the Mazda6, at least on the 16 x 6.5 steel wheels (42mm for Fusion and 55mm for Mazda6). I'm assuming (?) there is a similar difference for the Fusion and Mazda6 17 x 7 alloys ?
