Question My Mazda 6 won't start! Help!

I have a 2005 Mazda 6, it's a very nice car and up until now, I've had no problems with it. I'm not asking for a diagnoses, just some ideas so I don't look like a doof when I go to the mechanic in a few days. It's got a 3 year old battery and 95,644 miles on it- about half of these miles were put on it in the past 3 years. Yesterday, I was woken by thunder early in the morning. I realized my cars windows were cracked, so I ran outside to shut them before it got wet. I went to start my car and all I got was the clicking noise of my starter trying to start and all the dash lights blinking and gauges spinning. No start, though I did manage to roll the windows up. I got a jump from AAA and proceeded to drive 70 miles to my parents house without turning it off (this should have charged the battery). About 7 hours later, I try to turn it on again, same problem. This time my dad had to give me a jump from his SUV. It started right away, and I had to leave it running while I filled it up at the gas station. I drove it the 70 miles back to my house, and attempted to start it again after parking it. The same thing happened, and I had just been driving it one minuite before. The lights inside seemed very dim, the radio was on but no sound came out, the heater was also blowing very softly. But no start. What could it be? Has this happened to anyone else? Thankyou so much.

70 Miles wont recharge your battery. But if it wont restart after that drive then the battery is most likely completely toast.

Time for a battery and charging system test.

Definitely battery. Your alternator may or may not be OK.
Clean the stock body ground. Check the wiring off the alternator. Add another ground from engine to battery.

New battery fixed it! This time I got a high quality one, despite the price. Comes with a 7 year warranty. Thankyou all!
