Default New Exhaust... is it worth the money?

I am dying to get better performance from my '07 6 .. but i dont want to spend too much money because it is a lease..
I am looking at Flowmaster mufflers.......... I dont want to sound like a cheap import with a mono tone exhaust.. If you have changed your exhaust/mufflers please let me kno if you are happy with it and what you got..
Thanks

What engine do you have? Also, changing the exhaust on this car from the cat's back will only yield a max gain of 1hp, so if it's preformance you're after invest in headders (v6) or a headder (i4). As for options, there is mazdaspeed, injen, apexi, and magnaflow are the ones i can think of off the top of my head.

i havent heard flowmasters on a mazda6 yet, but i gota say i dont like flowmaster anymore. i used to swear by em, but now i call em "rottboxes". every flow i ever had on my other cars/trucksrotted out within a year, literally. my dads 99 f150 v6 has seen 3 flowmaster mufflers so far, he got tired of replacing emand went back to stock becasue hes getting a new truck soon ,but anyways...they extremely mass produce em now, so i hear and their quality went down the drain. this is only my opinion. do i think they sound great on vehicles, yes, but id never go back to them. check out youtube and searcn mazda 6 exhasut. you will find a TON of vids that will help you make up your mind
