Hello,

my name is Marcin and I am a member of Polish Mazda Club of owners. I have got an american version of Mazda 6 with 3-litre V6 engine and unfortunately the enigne must be repair (oil smoking, pistons rattling).

My mechanic decided to change pistons and we can't find any in Poland and all over the world... Could you tell me, wheter Mazda sells them or are they fit from other cars (Ford Mondeo, Jaguar X-Type, Mercury) oraz MPV 3.0?

Please, help me and sorry for my English.

Good morning Marcin. Unfortunately not even Mazda offers the pistons. The only way to properly do it, would be to purchase a new shortblock.

 

Thank you very much. I'll look for it or try to change an engine for Jaugar's 3.0.
