Default prem package worth it on 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring?

I'm about to purchase a 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring. Contemplating the Premium package. I just don't know if Nappa Leather and I eloop are worth the 2500 price increase. Any thoughts?

Just a additional cost on a already high option car. My guess, that option gone to put you at 35k.

I agree. We originally were going to get the 2017 Grand Touring but upon review never seriously considered the Premium package that gives the Napa leather and the black headliner. The return for the additional cost just did not seem sensible to us.

We did want the light interior but had heard some negative feedback from both our dealer and other owners concerning the Parchment leather. This white leather is beautiful but in todays world did not seem to meet our life style. Blue jeans tend to transfer their dye to leather and the maintenance to counteract that seems too high a price to pay.

We, also, did not like some of the features of the GT. The lane change warning was especially annoying. Yes, it could be turned off but then why pay for it? We opted to move down to the straight Touring with both of its premium packages that include the big Bose sound system and the all around LED lighting as well as the navigation chip. Another 'advantage' was the light tan 'leatherette' seating and trim. The leatherette is much more comfortable (soft) than the GT leather. It will not transfer dye from jeans etc. The touring configured with the 2 premium packages is still around $3,000 less than the Grand Touring and the few features missing would not have been worth the additional costs.

We are thrilled with our decision and love our 2017 Touring with the two premium packages. She is white with the tan leatherette interior. We added dark tinted windows at an after market custom shop and she gets glances from everyone she passes. Gorgeous.
