Default Rotor screws??? please help!!

hey guys! i have a 2006 mazda 6i with the 2.3liter. I am trying to remove my rotor, but apparently there are 2 little screws holding it on. Do those need to come off for the rotor to come off? One is kinda stripped now after my impact driver, and I have never seen this before......Any help is much appreciated

Yes those bolts need to come out
If they are stripped use a center punch
Center punch at the side of the head and tilt the punch so it will remove it when you hit it
But hit the head of the bolts to try and free up any rust first

yeah, those are installer screws. they don't hold the rotor, exactly. they just hold it still so that the rotor doesn't float while you are installing everything. they do need to be removed in order to remove the rotor.
