Something may have been loose from production. Do what SSlature said and take advantage of that warranty and challenge them to find another car! You do that, and they will take care of you...

 

I know my passenger side door rubber sticks, it makes a kinda ripping sound when you open that door, could that be it?

 

my door does not make any noise when i open and close it. i'm starting to think that it isnt the door..

*UPDATE

i brought the car to my mazda dealer and had them do a service check on it. they could not see the problem themself, and made me take it for a drive with the tech guy. i pointed out exactly where it came from, and emulated the noise. the tech guy confirmed that he heard the sound. when we got out of the car, the service dept. guy said that i have to bring the car back another day since the tech guy needs "all day" to look at it, and i will have to leave the car there for them to check it. i will update again when i take the car back.
