Slow engine respond on gas pedal
Hi everyone !
I am new on this forum and I apologise for my language (since I am across the sea .
My problem is: I have mazda 6 y.2005. Until several weeks, all was o.k. Suddenly I have noticed that the engine respond very slowly on the gas pedal. (when I push it and even when I step off the pedal the engine is getting acceleration very slowly). I was on service, they reload the program, and the problemis all the same. The next option was that I had a bad gasoline, I changed (drived) two tanks of gas, result is the same. I think that the service has lost ideas of what is the problem .
Please help !

RE: Slow engine respond on gas pedal
I would def. put in some gas cleaner or put in a high quality high octane gas... Could it be that his MAF is dirty? Or maybe a dirty injector? Id def get some high quality gas in there to clean it out once again, and I think maybe, just maybe it could be that the MAF is dirty...

RE: Slow engine respond on gas pedal
haha ive been waiting for someone to post about our "lagging throttle response"
infact its not an issue anyone can fix. Its widely criticized that our drivebywire throttle lags as compared to most other cars.
i tested it out by putting it in N and dabbing the gas and quickly letting off. the revs would rise AFTER MY FOOT HAS COMPLETELY LEFT THE PEDAL. its more noticeable at revs under 2500
if any of you think u dont have this problem. try what i did. (neutral+jab throttle). ull see.
