I have a 2003 V6 5spd that has developed a starting issue over the last month or so. Occasionally, it will act like the battery is nearly dead and crank over very slowly. Try it again and every thing is fine, cranks normal and starts right up. The battery is in good condition and only a year old. I'm suspecting the starter is going bad, but I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if it could be related to something else. Just wanted to be sure before I spend $150+ for an new starter. Thanks.
