Synthetic for Mazda 6 S

RE: Synthetic for Mazda 6 S
I use mobile 1 full syntec since the day I got it and it's been purring ever since. It's very clean when I change, technically I could just pass the existing oil through a strainer and put it right back in, but I prefer the new stuff. Usually only go ever 5k, could go to 7k or even 10k but prefer my 6 to be in top shape.

Hi. I would recommend using AMS oil 5W-20. It is slightly more expensive then the other brands. But it is a proven oil that is used in racing. I have used it for 25, 000 miles on my 6. I am getting better mileage with it. Try it out! Mobil 1, Valvoline will be ok, but AMS is the best stuff!

I use 5W-20 Mobil-1 and Mobil-1 oil filter. I replace the oil every 7500 miles. You can use "Mobil-1 5W-20 extended performance" and it is guaranteed to last 15.000 miles!
5W-20 determines the viscosity of the oil, you should use the viscosity required by the manufacturer! In the case of my 2003 Mazda 6s, it is 5W-20!

i use.... i think, quaker state 10w20 synthetic oil in my mazda3
and the "5w30" for example....
the '5' means the oil will flow freely when starting a cold engine,
and the '30' means the oil will thicken up when the engine warms up.....
