these will work as daily drivers too................just remember its still a turbo and still holds true to how a turbo works. everything is exactly the same for the most part except where u mount the turbo and how long ur plumbing will be. they basically use a kinda over redesigned turbo to need less heat to spool up..........

advantages..............cooler intake charge for one..............next is the is no rise in temp under ur hood............then u could make a sleeper..i.e- what u got under the hood man? look for urself dude.........hmmm....no turbo ur all engine, Yup..............the plumbing can look like a regular intake tract if ur creative.........set up the turbo to recirculate and not BOV to atmospere...........u have a queit unknown turbo'd monster.....besides the whislte from the exhaust that is..............very good idea.....not too expensive if u do it urself. exhaust shop for mounting the turbo on ur pipes.....take it back hom eand run the rest of the plumbing ur self......all u need is a flange to moount the turbo welded to the exhaust and a down pipe to finish the exhaust............same as any regular turbo setup.........running charge piping is easy just plan ahead

quit putting everyone in your basement you bum haha....
no

and heres what im worries about...they say buying the K&N precharger w/sock will help keep out most water find that hard to believe, cuz the intake is partically right next to the ground even closer than a regualar cai, and plus i dont thinks it healthy for your turbo to get wet even on the outside, plus wouldnt you lose a little more power since the intake to many bends, also you cant lower youber car at all (maybe a 1.5in) but for cars like mine i cant. But ill give it this it does make the perfect sleeper car (when people say "bs your car is not a built up N/A i heard that turbo" all you have to say is its not a turbo i just push a button that makes the sound.

u can lower your car............the setup is made not to sink lower than ur exhaust.............in all reality i would be less bends.........u dont have to get around bumpers and engine accesories like u would if it was mounted in the front.u'll have more of a str8 shot...............getting the turbo wet? are u serious? have u forgotten how hot a turbo gets...............it'll evaporate on contact........if u dont belive me........find some one that has a turbo'd car........get it to operating temp.....and start splashing water on it.......poof! water gone..............i say splash water because thats the effect it would have anyway while driving.....the air filter! easy money............make a shield around it.....kinda like u see on mustang and truck intakes.

this is so easy! if ur still scared of water getting in it...route it up into ur rear bumper.

i dont see how this will help the Mazda 6 v6, b/c its fwd.. if the turbo is in therear how will that help you. wouldnt that just make the back tires spin. i could be wrong, but thats my opinion

For the regular FWD 6, the turbo makes more power for theengine that onlydrives the front tires. The reartires will not spin because they never get power from the engine.
