Default trouble finding performance parts for 2008 6i sport

Hello i am new to the forum, i have been building cars most my life and never built up a Mazda before, i have a 2008 Mazda 6i sport with the 5 speed and the 2.3. I got a killer deal for it so i said screw it, therefore i have now realized i didn't do as much research as i should have. The problem that i am running into is that the 2008 Mazda 6 is almost invisible in the eyes of most performance companies i have been looking into. There is only one axle back exhaust i found, no cat back, all parts are for 03-07, and i am just finding it hard to find parts for this 2008 in terms of performance. Therefore my drawn out question, will 2007 parts fit a 2008 or do most parts fit? Or was there major differences between the 2007 and 2008 models? Any help or guidance would be appreciated, and yes i understand this is not a fast vehicle but doesn't mean i cant have some fun and do some simple bolt-ons to make it my own.

If you do in fact have the 2.3, I assume you have the very last of the GG which ran from 2002 till early 2008. facelift came out in 2006 ------ The 2.5 GH series was launch in 2008.

cool enough i still have the original window sticker, so it is a 2.3. But from what your saying than all 2007 parts "should" fit my 2008?
