Used 03' Mazda 6
I am 17 and looking for a car, my dad and I came across a 2003 Mazda 6 with 100,000 miles on it, now we test drove it and everything seems to be running great on the car, we acutualy drove one today with half the miles and it looked like **** and drove really bad. Now i just wanted to find out what you guys think about the car with the milage being that high...

that is the link to the car. Id like to hear some of ur opinions about how this car drives and how it has treated you after this many years.
Thanks in advance

Link doesn't work.
Anyway, 100K is a fair amount of miles. The most miles on a used vehicle that I have ever purchased was about 65K. However, if properly maintained, the car may go another 100K without any major issues. My Ford Crown Vic (V8) went to nearly 250K before the head gasket went. The Vics are ridiculously reliable though - much more so than a 6. Sorry guys, I love my 6 but the Vic is more reliable hands down. To be fair though, the fuel consumption on the V8 vs my I4 6 more than makes up for the cost of repairs in the future.
I guess ultimately I would let vehicle condition and price dictate my final decision.

+1 on what was said. I'd get a carfax on the car, and ask about where it was driven (if the miles were mostly highway or city driving). But if it was well maintained then there is no reason you shouldn't be able to get another 100k out of the car.
