Just a random thought for all you speed freaks out there, but does anyone know the official acceleration times for the 6s Hatch vs the Sedan? I am well aware that the sedan is lighter, but only by about 100 pounds if that when you compare the MT versions. (AT models are heavier by an extra 80 pounds or so on top of that). Also I do believe it depends on the year. My 04 Hatch is about 30 pounds lighter than the 05 model. Small difference but I guess when it comes to racing every pound counts. I beliave Mazda was saying 6.8 for the 6s Sedan MT, but how much of a difference could 90 or so pounds make? Also how do people feel about the exterior styling of the hatch vs the sedan. I know people that think that the hatch looks better and vice versa. I personaly think the first generation 6 is one of the best looking sedans on the road today regardless if its the sedan, hatch, or wagon. Just thought Id open this for discussion. Go!
