So after about three weeks of having purhcased an '06 M6S, the check-engine light is on! I know it's not exactly a brand new car, but it I haven't even sent in the first payment on this thing (it has less than 30,000 miles and is in great shape otherwise). Well, I'll find out this week what the issue is and to be fair, it could be something very very minor. So I'll hold off on any ranting unless it turns out to be justified. Come to think of it, when I first got my '97 Protege' (bought new), the CEL came on after a couple of months. Turned out to be nothing but a loose spark plug.

Turns out it was nothing the fuss about. Basicaly, the gas cap was defective and not providing a proper seal. Funny thing is that the light went out on its own yesterday. Maybe the recent change in temperature had an effect on it.
