Default What do I need for an Android Auto head unit?

Hello, all! I own a 2014 Mazda 6 with the tech package (purchased February 2013) and I love it!

I'm also a big Android user and with some cool aftermarket Android Auto head units on the horizon, I was wondering what I needed to have everything work properly.

I've heard that there are wires to help rig up the steering wheel controls to the head unit, but my bigger question is, is there a way to splice the Bose microphone in the car to the head unit?

I'd rather use the Bose microphone instead of the microphone on the head unit, if possible.

Really, if anyone could leave a list of hardware I need to make everything work and wouldn't mind labeling what it does, I'd appreciate it.

Wondering about:
  • Bose microphone
  • Steering wheel controls
  • Back up camera
  • Anything else I'm missing!

Thanks!
