RE: whats the price you paid?
I bought a new '06 Mazda 6 Sport.
Total MSRP was 23,350.
After tax and reg fees and everything, I paid $21,700.
After reading all these, I don't know if I got a good deal or not.
Has everyone been posting the final price they paid?

RE: whats the price you paid?
In 2005 when people bought 05's around 5k off msrp was acheivable.
I wouldnt worry too much; not all things are equal (new model, what apr you got etc etc), as long as youre happy with your car, then its all good

RE: whats the price you paid?
Ha ha I am reading these and I think I win.
2006 Mazdaspeed 6 touring package (the leather), sunroof, with 2500 miles on it (from a repossesion not a warranty return)
In California (where the prices are crap)
For $26300. (tax title license the whole thing)
And $1100 of that was paying off the difference on my trade in (which I got $1000 more on the trade than anyone else offered (he originally offered 2500 too but I told him no.))
So if you take off the 1000 the dealer pumped into my trade in to make me feel better, $25300. And the 1100 that was not really buying the car, $24200.
Yeah I got the deal because I told the guy when I showed up I only wanted about $20K worth of car. But my description (leather horsepower backseat) matched the car he had perfectly. The car was at 29000. He said 5500 down and 585 a month. I told him no chance. The manager gave me another offer, I told him no chance. Another, no way. Another, No way. I was there 7 hours telling him I was only gonna pay 2500 down and 400 a month (and to show me that car). I told him that 2500 is not 10% of 29000 and 400 a month will only get me 20000 worth of a car. Since I would not budge, we finally saw things my way. (Well what did he expect, it is not like I can make an extra 150 dollars a month because he wants it)
It has to do with the housing economy flopping around here... buyers market.
