Hey Grey.....
i know you posted the problems you were having with your 6 awhile ago but i wanted to know what ended up happening? did the dealership fix it all? they should have! i'm having a problem with my '05 6i 5door slamming into 2nd. it only does it occasionally and it seems to do it only @ low speeds & when it's cold.....still, i want the dealer to check it out cause it shouldn't be doin that to begin with! lemme know what happened when you get the chance...thanks! btw, saw your ride pics on your website....nice!

on another note....if you guys haven't already....you should sign up @ www.mazdausa.com (click on 'Owners' tab).....there's a section for owners where you can keep track of everything you do with your Mazda. it's totally helpful & helps me keep track of every service job i do. it will even remind you when your next service is do, if there are any recalls, offers coupons for discounts off services, etc., blah,blah,blah.....anyways, not trying to give Mazda a free handjob but i just like the convenience! try it out!!!

the problems were all resolved except for the engine knocking. i've tried different fuels and nothing has changed. also, i thought about running full synthetic to see if that would change things, but from what i got out of talking to other 6 owners... that doesn't change it either. for the shifting aspect, mazda reflashed my pcm/tcm and that took away 80% (rough guess) of the jerking. i found that if you add a cold air intake to your car, the ride shifts even smoother. the dealership immediately took action (great customer service and knowledge there!).

and thanks for the compliments on my ride... it's a work in progress! still waiting for a few parts to come in and finish up a few projects that i started on my car.
