I wouldn't buy my Mazda again!
2006 Mazda 6 3.0 V6 automatic 6 speed wagon.

Looks: A -- did have to tint windows.
Ride: B Front gap between tire and fender lip height was too high, had to lower it 1" to match rear, also had to add beefier rear sway bar.
Stereo: B Replaced stock unit with aftermarket Kenwood CD player and 600 watt amp. Stock did not have nav or anything. Still using original door speakers. Added 2 15" subs.
Gas mileage; who cares
Transmission: F (blew @ 45,000 km) please add external cooler with Aisin Warner 6 speed automatic
Engine: B not bad except for had to do an egr mod that involved cutting the tube going back to intake to get equal balance between both cyl banks. More: EGR MOD
Exhaust: F when an exhaust tube meets another at a 90 degree angle at the last second (was actually pointing wrong direction before this), there is improper flow and did cause misfires. I had to install a custom exhaust from right after the pre-cats: now it's great.
More info: https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...-design-28940/
RUST: C Had rust around rear fender well lips, fixed under my extended rust protection

I've had a lot of issues, and some that needs to be resolved via the aftermarket.
Due to these issues, this why I give the advice that I give.
