1989 626, slider shoulder belts will not move.
Hello, new to your site.
I have an '89 mazda 626. The slider shoulder belts have stopped in the open position, no longer slide upon door open or close. The only thing working is the belt minder, not pleasant.
I know there is a 30 amp fuse under the hood in the engine compartment. Does anyone know which one it is, and how I can test it.
I have heard tell I can manually crank the belt slider back into the lock position over the center post on the drivers side, then clip both belts manually. This seems to a power related issue, I am guessing.
I'm not sure I posted this in the correct forum, I will appreciate any guidance that can be provided. Yes I watched the u-tube. Thanks.
