2005 Mazda 6 Sports Wagon--great ride
Just got it last Saturday. I test drove it and immediately knew I wanted. I actually went to drive a 2006 Mazda 5 but because of the dealer waiting on parts for the recall (heat shield or something) I couldn't drive a 5. I test drove a 3 and it was OK--nice peppy little car. I saw one of the wagons, asked the salesperson about it and took it for a drive. It was great--handled well, had plenty of power and was comfortable and spacious. It will fit my needs nicely.
After the test drive, the salesperson pointed out they were taking 25% of all 2005 Mazda's in stock this week. The sticker on my 6 was $26,380 not including TTT and any other dealer fees. With the 25% off it brought the sticker down to $19,785 and after TTT I drove it off the lot for a shade over $21,000. Seemed/seems like a pretty good deal.
The 6 is Squall Blue Pearl, Black cloth interior (I personally don't care for leather) with the roof rack and rear spoiler.
Nothing too fancy, but I am really enjoying driving this car. Windows get tinted all the way around this weekend. I'll probably do a few other mods as time goes by.

Congrats ! Welcome to the family of 6 . According to a salesman the wagon supposedly handles a bit better due to being stiffer . I haven't read that anywhere though .
Personally I never cared for leather either until I got the Cobra . It's a warm/comforting feeling once you get to sit full time in them . I've even slept on leather on my long trip in the U.S. coming back up from picking it up lol . The smell of leather is intoxicating ! Now with the 6 ; it's got heated seats to keep my buns and back warm , and supple after a long drive .
