thanks for the welcome
I got my truck when i first got my g2 and was young and stupid. im not gonna lie
I am not very experienced in automotive, but ill give it it a shot on what needed to be fixed.
Please CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG.
i never brought it to a mechanic. i hoped to learn from others. ex. forums, friends, n ****
anyways, i believe it needs a new front fascia, new hood, new rad, new fan, and somethin with my steering. cause it cant turn anymore. its stuck forward. lol. maybe a steering shaft?
im not sure. but i crashed it taking a corner to fast in dirt at like 95k. and i only remember going on 2 wheels and then ending up into a tree. my engine bay was compressed like a foot after that

RE: Another Newbie
Well if you don't know alot about mechanics, a 25+ year old rotary is not the best idea. The age plusit being a 7 will mean it's owner is going to have to do tons of work themselves. Unless you're willing to pay big for a restored one.

RE: Another Newbie
that's the spirit, you sound like a pre-7 owner already. Alot of people on other forums ask if they should get a 7 or __________. All the Rx-7 owners say ,"If you have to ask, you don't want a 7." True, Rx-7s are really fast and fun cars, but you have to want a rotary and respect it's uniqueness and be ready to take on challenges. You sound fit for the job and I wish you good luck. If I were to go fo r afirst gen look for a 1985 GSL-SE (someone correct me if IU'm wrong) but that model is the only first gen to house a 13B rotary rather than the smaller less powerful 12A rotary. Good luck and rotaries are easy to learn about quickly. I always knew how they worked essentially, but after I bought the car, in Feb, I've learned enough to want to take on a rebuild of the engine this summer and I practically already have the knoweledge to, doing is different fro mreading though. At first I thought you were one of those people who wanted a 7 just because they thought it'd be cool and could care less of it's history and engine. Now I know you're serious and support you 100%. Good luck with the find and buy.
