So, No Shock. My AWR pan leaks out the welds.
(I was assured that Tony had fixed this problem, but he apparently could not figure out the most basic welding techinques.)
Seriously hard to believe that something that was $400 + dollars cant outperform the Hunk of crap OEM pan..
Pan Plan.
Media Blast Pan
Weld inside and outside (TONY!!!)
Machine mating surface (Because it is warped to **** TONY!!!!)
Coat pan with "Bluing" (used on assault riffles)
Media Blast windage tray
Install second AN10 Fitting for DOC B Oil Return
Machine both sides of windage tray true
Install windage tray and modified oil pump to engine block with Permitex "Right Stuff" gasket maker.
Install oil pan to windage tray with Cork Gasket
So it isn't even my job to make oil pans. But if it was, I would make this instead of what AWR Makes..
***k Yes! I love Custom Parts!
Ok, An Update.
New Trans should be ready mid next week.
Decided to install the hood latches thus removing the stock hood latch, which made the Sexy CR3 "Hole Less" diverter plate possible.
Engine Timed and Assembled.

So I seem to have a habit of taking a process that is expensive, and making it more expensive.
Here is the AN10 Braided Stainless line that takes the oil from the filter to the back of the engine. (In the third picture it is just screwed into the windage tray to store it for the build.)
It is sleeved with flame, heat and abrasive resistant silicone. The hose itself is already designed to be durable, this is one more layer of protection.
