Nothing particularly exciting to report.

I have the wiring mostly done and the dash is back in..

Here is the Cooling System that is planed for the MP5T..

It requires the following parts.

Electric Cooling Pump
Solid State Relay x2 (Fans and Pump)
Haltech SP500/PS1000/PS2000 Standalone ECU
Coolant Temp Sensor
AluminumAN16 Weld On Fittings X4
Aluminum AN4 Weld In Fittings x2
Blanking Plate on Coolant inlet and Outlets
Gutted Stock Pump (No Blanking Plate as the Timing Belt Idler sits on it)

The basic idea is simple.

This car has no mechanical thermostat, No Heater Core and No Primary Coolant Loop
This works only because the coolant must pass the radiator.
The temperature is maintained by actively and precisely adjusting the speed of the pump based on the program.

Brian, you must, check, SURLY have the most understanding wife in the world.

Mine would have a conniption fit if she saw all this stuff sitting in the garage. And an even bigger one if she saw the bills for it all!!

And where do you find all the time an energy? I have enough to do around here w/o spending all my time working on the car. Do you ever sleep??

I do not sleep for long and basically can not accept a fail, so I keep working until a solution is found.

My wife and I both tune cars and have no children. We both have very good jobs so the "Money" thing is relative.

She does not mind the car and it's cost as long as it runs... as soon as it's broken it's a constant reminder of money.. when it's running, it is simply a car.

Well I would say that you picked the right woman and are very lucky. Probably 9/10 of us, or 49/50... or even 99/100 of us here have wives that couldn't give a crap about cars, and don't understand our interest in them.
Good for you!! You're a lucky, LUCKY Man.

BTW: 'Still maintaining a thread/posting over @ 24/7?

Thanks for having a look..


So Big Updates.. (I got back late last night and have not had the time to clean everything up)

Spent from 4 Pm till 11 Pm with the welder.

He was able to accomplish the following..
Weld AN16 Fitting on the In and Out port for the Radiator (Replaces ****ty Hose)
Weld the Fan Shroud to the front of the Radiator (No Room in stock location Because of GT30)
Weld AN16 In and Out on Mezire Electric Coolant Pump
Weld a Bracket to mount the pump
Create a Blanking Plate for the OEM Water Pump.
