Two months ago my 2002 Mazda 626 Eclipse auto sedan (GF series,1stJune2002)stopped in the middle of the road. I had it towed to our Toyota dealer (probably should have sent it to Mazda dealer) and since then they cannot get it to run. It does run for about 3 to 4 seconds then stops.The following has been checked and found to be ok: The ECU (ECM) ,Petrol pump, fuel filter, air flow meter, coil, crank angle sensor and cam sensor has also been replaced, but car still won't run.The service manager (we've know for 27 years) doesn't want to give up. He said he's also contacted Mazda and gotten their codes for my car. He also got in an outside auto electrician but to no avail. I don't know what to do. I've been having sleepless nights and is costing me over a $1,000 dollars so far.
Has anyone come across this before? Does anyone have any suggestions? I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia and any suggestion would be welcome.
