Engine light and traction control light on and vehicle is in limp mode

Engine light and traction control light on and vehicle is in limp mode
I have a 2017 Mazda CX-5. The car started sputtering and then the traction control light along with the engine light came on and the car immediately went into limp mode. The collision light also came on. What could cause this?

SIMPLE!!!!
You should have gotten a check engine light. If not then have your Mazda towed to the dealer or service shop.
You need to by way of using a Handheld Diagnostic scanner and connecting it directly to the OBDII diagnostic connector go and retrieve the DTC, pending DTC and check the TCM for pending or active trouble codes.
I would not continue to drive the MAZDA until you at least check for current DTC and pending DTC!
