Getting my Mazda3 Hatch next week. HELP!
So, I've been looking at the Mazda 3 Hatch for months now, and I'm finally getting it. I have some questions as to what mods I should add to this already bad *** car. I'm thinking a catback and an intake to start, maybe drop it a couple inches. =]
Please let me know what brands you think I should go with and about how much they would run me. I'm looking to spen around 1k, mayyybbeeee $1,500 to start.

RE: Getting my Mazda3 Hatch next week. HELP!
Well, well, well!! Congrats on the new car, Welcome to the forums and theextended Mazda family.
$1000-$1500 oughta' do it. A good cat-back= $500-$600. A good CAI= $200-$300. And springs?=$150-$300.
As far as choices, every one has their own ideas within the range of what's available, but stay away from the no-name (or the "trying to build a name") eBay stuff. You will most likely be disappointed and have wasted your hard earned $$$.
For my own recommendation of cat-backs, read here: https://www.mazdaforum.com/m_53114/tm.htm
I also recommend the Mazdaspeed, or AEM CAI for the street. They are the same and offer good improvements in low and mid range power... where you'll be most of the time. I have the MS myself.
K&N is good too, but has an oiled filter. Injen is good, but is expensive. Fujitsa for mid-upper range power.
Springs? Eibach, Racing Beat, Tein, H&R, etc, etc, etc....

And remember, we need pics of the new ride!!

Y'know, you don't mention sway bars, or strut/chassis braces?
If you want to go the full $1500 you could get a full set of Eibach/Mazdaspeed (same again. The Eibach name will be cheaper,) or Racing Beat's set, or fora minor upgrade in the rear, Progess makes a nice adjustable bar too.
And check out the sponsors of this forum too, like Med Center Mazda, and Mazdastuff. There are several Mazda direct parts places that offer a good selection for factory parts and accessories as well as fair prices.
