I'm proud to finally join a forum and start contributing as I have finally purchased a car which I plan on investing on and seeing how I can evolve it.

About me:
So first off, my name is Eric. I'm originally from NYC however now I live in Central Jersey. Nice to meet everyone here! I just purchased an 1993 MX-3 for 800 dollars. I had a chance to purchase an MX-6 in the past, I really loved the car however the seller kept changing stories on how it got a little bit of damage on the bumper so I didn't trust him. Anyways, my little 1.6l MX-3 is going to be my starting ground and I want to document everything I do, for myself and everyone else. I am NOT a mechanic, part of buying a cheaper car was to learn. I know a decent amount however I still have a lot to learn.

About my MX-3:
As mentioned it is a 1993 Mazda MX-3 1.6l. Currently it is completely stock and actually runs pretty good. The issues as I have just noticed after bringing it home was that the coolant was a little dirty so I want to investigate the head gasket, although I'm not jumping to that conclusion yet. And reverse gave a loud cling sound when shifting in to it. It reversed fine so maybe it was still spinning when I moved it in gear. I have to try double clutch and see what happens. Anyways that's all for me to learn and research!

Anywho, I'm going to start my own tread and constantly be updating it so if you wanna give your input feel free to comment, question, and help as it is always welcome. Pictures will be posted in my thread soon!
