i just got the car on Friday - found out the kid had an aftermarket Injen SP cold air intake installed. Hp's up around 300.

This car is my new happy place.

 

Hmmm.... That can't be the only thing he did if you have a confirmed 300hp at the wheels. I mean, Injen makes nice stuff but it won't take you from 263 to 300 on its own.
Did you dyno the car?

i'm not sure... i'm taking it to somebody who's very experienced with these cars and he's going to tell me all of the aftermarket things the previous owner put into the car.

i'm absolutely IN LOVE with this thing, man... i'll be honest with you, though: i'm not into the stoplight and gas station challenges by every kid who sees me. LOL. it's ridiculous. i took the "mazdaspeed" off of the back of the car, so now it's bare. ... that's cool; i was thinking that's kind of a "steal/carjack me" sign (i live in Puerto Rico)
