Help from UK Mazda Forum UK Members required
Hi there
I am a new UK member and I need your help:
I am the owner of a J-reg Mazda MX5 Eunos Roasdter Japanese import (first registered in UK in 1999) . I have lost the inmobiliser key and have not got a spare one.
Can anyone plase advise me as to where to go to get a copy of my car key? . Would I be able to get one relatively easily? at what average cost? what about the immobiliser system?
Any possible solution to this problem would be extremely appreciated. Cheers.
Ciao
Elena

I would think a dealership could help you. Or contact the mazda company in the UK.
Be patient, remember two things, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" and
"if at first you don't succeed, try, try again" (be persistant!!!)
trust me, I work in the service industry , in this economy nobody wants to lose a customer. good hunting

Many thanks for your kind reply. Luckily, since I first posted this message, my car key magically reapeared after 6 weeks saving me a lot of money and hassle! However, I am v. grateful for your reply. I had actually spoken to Mazda in UK and it seemed as if they could give me some sort of solution but it was going to be costly and take a long time..that is if they could manage to bypass the immobiliser system and get the lock number!!
