Hopeful newbie....
Hey All! I am just about to become a new owner of a 2004 RX8 six speed manual. Please, please read my post in the RX8 section of this forum.
I have NOT paid for the car yet and will do so this Monday the 6th. But after reading some reviews about flooding and oil consumption, I am starting to worry if I made the right decision. The car has 70K, runs just super and looks great. No abuse that I can tell. So should I be worried about buying this particualar Mazda or go to something else i.e. Miata, BMW Z or corvette even(I've owned five of them)? I just need some honest opinions here. The car will be a pleasure car and NOT a daily driver but I want to be able to start it up and restart with no issues--not left out in the cold in other words. But read my post and reply to it.
I am hopefully glad to be a part of the Mazda family--my first ever--and owning one will bring me lots of smiles and head-turns. I mean, come on, it IS a great looking car after all, let alone its performance.
Thanks for allowing me to be a part of a family of Mazda owners that simply go: zoom zoom!
