I just bought an '06 Mazda3 5-door about a month ago. It is the Grand Touring model, Titanium Gray with the Bose package and the Appearance Package ... I think that's about it. I just received my Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs today (yeah!) and hope to have the put on by this weekend. I plan to take before and after pictures, I always find it helpful when other people do that. I ordered some 18x7.5 5Zigen Super Six's (gunmetal) and some 225/40ZR 18 Yokohama Parada Spec 2's about two weeks ago and was initially told they would arrive in three weeks but then I was told last week that there were none in North America and it may be a "while" before they come in. Once I get them on I will take more pics and post them. I was concerned about wheel rub but I just read another article about someone (Benzo666) who had the same setup and didn't have a problem so I have my fingers crossed on that one. Oh yeah and I got my windows tinted last week, I know it's nothing big but it does make it look a little cooler, it's not a dark tint, only 35% all the way around and a 5% eyebrow in the front. The black interior makes the tint look a little darker than it really is. So I think that's about it, I'm gonna go cruise around the forum some more. Later ...

Well bad news. I ws all set to have my lowering springs put on yesterday (05/13/06) but the place I took it to didn't have the specs to align an '06 Mazda3. I decided not to have them put on until they get the specs, hopefully that will be soon. I would take my car somewhere else but I know the guy that owns the shop and he cuts me a hell of a deal on my car work so I guess I'll just wait. Besides, it doesn't sound like my wheels will be in anytime soon. I think I will call Discount Tire Direct and ask for an update on teh order, maybe they will have good news for me.

good luck with that, it sounds liek you've got some good plans for it and those are all really clean attractive mods, nothing stupid like a body kit or anyhting. i'm looking forward to pics of this car when it's done.
