Hey, I just purchased a 2004 Mazda 3s sedan, 5 speed manual with just under 157k. It has a clean title, has been adult owned, and appears to have been well maintained. I paid $2000 and am wondering why they priced it so low. The only faults I can seem to find are a small dent, an opening seam on the leather of the driver seat, and an airbag warning light is on. I’d like to think I scored on this but if anyone more in the know can tell me any things I might want to look for or be aware of on these models, I’d appreciate any advice. Also, does anyone know off hand how I can find out if it’s a 2.0 or a 2.3? I thought all s models were 2.3 but someone told me only the HB models were. Thanks

 

Does your Vin/chassis number go ***BK10F or ***BK103?


10F is 2.0 engine, 103 is 2.3 engine.
