Just saying hello!
Hi Everyone. I live in So Cal where there's almost no rain. But not today. It's pouring cats and dogs right now!
I will be buying a CX5 in the next few weeks. Never own a Mazda before but have heard so many great things about it. Looking forward to a great 'relationship' with the car. My last car was a Honda Odyssey van which lasted almost 10 years. So it's quite a change from a big van to a crossover.
A little more about myself. I choose the moniker "ILoveToyCars" because I collect all sorts of 1:64 scale diecast. I must have accumulated 20,000 pieces over the years. They are all packed in boxes piled up in the garage. When I retire I will open them up and play!

Now I have something more expensive than the toys parking in the garage!
I just bought a 2015 CX5 Touring in Meteor Gray. No options. The selling price was $22,638 or $3,157 off MSRP of $25,795. Financing was 3.49% through Mazda Capital. I did pay $500 more for a 3rd party roadside coverage which includes windshield replacement/repair, dent repair, key replacement, roadside assistance for 5 years with no deductible.
I am pretty excited and can't wait to drive it to work to show it to a few people who own CX9, CX7 and a 6!
BTW, All the toy cars I have are the common $1 Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. I will be lucky to get $10,000 back. It's really for fun and not investment.
