Default Mazda 5 2010 ticking sound

Just purchased a used Mazda 5 2010 with a 5 speed manual and 187000km for cheap, runs great, but I've noticed a ticking sound that ONLY starts once the engine has warmed up and is only noticeable at around 3000rpm. It only occurs when I am driving the car, if coasting or accelerating it seems to be the same. When parked in neutral with the clutch in or out I cannot hear it. The sound is not very loud but enough to be of concern to me so I'd like some input and see if others have had similar issues and how to fix it.

Welcome to the forum

You are really not giving much information to be helpful to "guessing" the noise you are hearing. The problem with noise is that most do not know what is bad and normal. So, I recommend getting a scanner with data logging and make a data sheet of some operating registers during what you described in the first post.
I.E.

Ignition timing
coolant temperature
CAT temperature

Although I personally hate videos of sounds you can try to record one. But most that do this capture so many normal sounds it is very difficult to analyze them on a forum> If you do keep the windows up and the recording device in one location .In other words don't sound chase the noise by moving the device around.
