Mazda 5
I have had no problems with my 2006 Mazda 5 except for having to buy new tires at 40,000 km. Reading the notes, I now understand why.
At 61,000 km I have just taken it in for a 'routine' service which cost $1256 for the front brakes (including rotors), the rear shocks, a suggested transmission flush which I had never heard of before and an oil change.
It is only three months out of warranty but neither Mazda or the dealership will help with the cost of $330. I suggested 50/50 and the dealer said he would give me a deal on the parts. I got $20.
I feel like trading it in right now. Saving on gas doesn't help with bills like this!

All those things sound like something that was needed.
All Automatic transmissions need to be flushed, getting brakes done at the dealer is going to be high also as well as the shocks. I myself would find another shop to take it to for Maintenance other than Mazda, just find one that is reputable in your area.
