Hello from Hampshire, UK. The blue Mazda 6 2.0 TS hatchback (petrol) is actually my wifes bought new now 3.5 years and 40K miles young. Thought I'd check in here to see what's going on since I've had a ton of useful info. on my own car on other forums.
The car's has been great and is a really sweet drive. Only a few of minor faults since we have had it:
Drivers door lock replaced
Hatch back boot / trunk struts replaced - used to sound like opening a coffin in a horror movie

Unfortunatelty someone drove into the back of it when it was 9 months old, the repair seems to be perfectly done though. Now having the rear bumper replaced again because someone reversed into it in a car park.
