Well decided to trade in my truck today and drove away from the lot in this wonderful car.

My first Mazda, hopefully it will be a good car. Traded in a Nissan frontier truck for this. Just wanted to have a stick again and wanted to enjoy driving again.

Anyone know what they call this color? It's not black though it looks in the pics. It's actually a dark maroon color.

Man!! You coulda' fooled me. It DOES look black, very black in those pictures.
If its a dark maroon as you said, its probably dark cherry mica (#32M.)
The paint code should be on the B pillar inside the driver's door, and you can look it up on the Mazda USA website under accessories.

 

yep, black mica. always been a fan of the ms6's. awd ftmfw.

 

And the Speed6 doesn't scream, "Pull me over!" like an Evo. I always feel so conspicuous driving one.

2.3L 4cyl, 6-speed, turbocharged... and AWD as previously stated.

 

Mazda needs to put AWD on more of their cars
