Default new guy on the board

name is Justin. i live it St. Louis and i literally just bought a 98 626 and hour ago. bought it for 1300 and runs perfectly fine... its a little rough around the edges, but not too bad. No pics right now, its dark. but i WILL have some posted up tomorrow for sure. this is my girlfriends car, its the first one that she has bought. havent really done much research on mazda's but i know it has a 2.0 L 4 cyl engine. its pretty responsive from what a gathered on the ride home.

just a little bit about me. i am a honda guy... but this was to good of a deal to pass up. i drive a 95 integra Ls (non-vtec). its lowered on rsr springs and skunk 2 shocks. custom exhaust with magnaflow muffler. AEM dry flow filter on an ebay intake arm. and a ****ty megan racing header. other than that its pretty much stock. here are a couple pics of my beauty!

Lose the side molding for a cleaner look.
I came from Honda also, though many years ago now when Honda was still "keeping it simple." I loved my '80 Civic HB.
What are your plans for the 6? Winter beater? Fixer upper? W/E track car?
Is it a 5-sp or aut-i-o-matic?

And BTW: We don't care what you drive here. We are not automotive prudes like some other forums I know of. But do expect some friendly ribbing about the Teg.

Shouldn't be that bad, though...I mean, at least you drive an import. I have a Chevy.

well the car is my girlfriends car... she is almost 9 months pregnant, so i really dont have plans for it except to get it to pass safety.

so far it needs a new headlight wire harness, probably a new headlight switch too. new rear sway bar end links. the exhaust needs to be re-welded to the back end of the resonator. and i need a clip that will hold the brake line to the strut body... my teg has bolts, but i guess this one uses a clip?

all in all i figure about 300 and i have still got a car that will run good for under 2 grand...

AND NOW THE MOMENT EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!!!!!!11111111!!!ONE!!!!!

Sure I did.... one of the five boroughs: Manhattan, Queens of which there are many in NYC, Brooklyn, Staten Island and of course Jersey City.
Can't recall ever being on Staten Island though. Spent plenty (re: enough) time on Manhattan, Brooklyn and in Flushing though.

Now my thermometer reads 107.4* and the sensor is on the North side of the house as it should be... out of the sun.

Edit, 3:45PM CDT 108* even!!! Thank god for central A/C.

And J, I see an automatic shifter in there.... You know what that means: Da-da-da-dahhhh, Da-da-da-dahhhhhhh.

Jersey City, hahaha. Yeah, I'd like to forget the Bronx too.

Ah! I see you got my joke... or was it???
Isn't Jersey City now considered the murder capital of the world, right next to Washington DC?
