New to Mazda Forum - Explanation of a Groaning noise
Hiya
Ive owned my Mazda Mx5 1.8 for several months - I think its classed as a mark 2.5 - it is a 2002 model. Apart from a few teething probs, I have had some good trouble free motoring! I struggle when anything goes wrong though and lately the car has been making what I can only describe as a groaning noise when i depress the brake pedal - I would also liken it to the sound of a machine gun. The brakes are working ok. It seems to me that it only makes this groaning, fatigue type noise when the car warms up.
I will have to book it in to be looked at but would like to know if anyone has any ideas what this could be?
Many thanks in advance
