Default new from utah

heres the deal, 8 months ago i bought my wife an 01 volks beetle turbo, loaded, low miles, fast car, because this is what she really wanted, that car what the biggest headache. We put over 2grand in repairs in only 8 months on a car with only 60k miles. CEL constantly coming on, poor idle, would stall frequently, sometimes just wouldnt start. When it was running good, it was awesome (key word being when). My wife has barely driven it in the past few weeks (opting to drive the family minivan) because she was afraid the dang thing would blow up. So yesterday morning I drove it to work and on my way had stopped at the C-store, the car wouldnt start. I couldnt take anymore, so last night I was out until midnight trading it for something a little more dependable. I guess the timing was just right or maybe they were hurting for sales, but I now own a bright red, 2007 mazda 3 with only 10k miles on it and got what I believe is a smokin deal $13995, not to mention that they paid off the vw and gave me an extended warranty. For the first time in weeks I actually slept good, and when my wife left for work in her new car I had peace of mind. I love our new car.[sm=happy046.gif][sm=happy046.gif]

BTW: Welcome to the site and the Mazda extended family.
What trim level did you get for $14k?

Thanks for the welcome! The new beetles are total crap, tons of electrical problems as well as turbo issues. it seems like I was always under the hood. I would not let anyone I know buy one of those cars unless they had alot of money and time on their hands. As far as the trim level on my new 3i, it is the touring edition, but it also has side air bags and 4 wheel ABS, are these optional or standard on the 3i touring?
