Default New zoom-Zoom

Hello everyone . I'm new here for just the last couple days and I'm glad this forum exists so I can chat with you all about zoom -Zoom )

About myself :
I'm a semi-truck driver for Purolator Courrier Limited
I live in Montreal and I have been a contributing member of the Montreal Mustang 1994 inc. Club and forum (forum revamped in April '05) under the avatar 'FangStang' www.montrealmustang.org since 2002 after importing a Cobra (see sig.) .

I'm a big car enthusiast , and the cars I own have got to have their looks to get my heart pumping . The 6 just does that and more . What a car , with times that rival a Mustang GT (mid-90's-to-early 2K) in the quarter mile at 15.1 seconds at 93mph and 0-60 in the 6.4 seconds ! Ouff ! All this with front wheel drive ! on Michelin all-seasons ! and 50 kilograms more than my fully loaded 1345 kilos. Cobra ! Imagine the possibilities ......

I've owned previously two other Mazda 626 a long time ago ....... a 1980 two-door red .... and a 1985 4-door LX charcoal ... enjoyed them very much

Me with saleman who I saved over $7,000 on buying (not leasing) without donating my winter beater .... I'll post all the facts in a futur thread like I have already in french on other forum
[IMG] [/IMG]

I just ordered myself Chrome O.E. Wheels .... [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG]
to go on this baby (my winter beater in background lol , the Acura of course ... gotta find time to sell it)
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
bought it at 41 klics , but this is only the first pic of the odometer

Looking forward to meet you all here and chatting with you guys and gals
If you want to see pictures of my Cobra , just ask and I'll gladly post them .

did you notice the plate ??

I went hunting at the motor dept. for the numbers 626, but the letters are a pure coincidence ! she came back with these letters and the way I see it ; it's damn close to RX8(H) !!! lol

im in canada...they quoted me $33,000 cad for the same car as the one in the link. what about getting a trailer hitch? do they make them?

I suppose they quoted for a brand new car with @ no miles on it ?

Cause at that price , it has to be new

this is what I paid for a 2005 top spec fully loaded GT v6 + with additional O.E. extras $$$ :

Bought -$31,255 + tx .... (MSRP $32,795 + tx) ............. savings of $1540
Transp.+Prep. $0 .........(Transp.+ Prep. value $1400) ....... savings of $1400
Financing 0% a 60 months .... (3.9% equivalent @ $3700) .... savings of $3700
RDPRM + Air Cond. $0 de tx ... ( RDPRM + A/C Tax on $190 = $218) .... savings of $28
Cargo Net $0 ................ (Cargo Net value of $40 + tx = $46) ......... savings of $46
Tank Gaz $0 ................ (Tank Gaz of 68 litres at $1.00 a litre) ... savings of $68
3 free oil changes 0$ .... (3 oil change at dealer @ $40) ... savings of $120
installation Mazda Perimeter Shock Sensor $0 .... (labor $60 + tx = $69) ..... savings of $69
Mazda Perimeter Shock Sensor saved on no tax........ ( taxe on $65 = $74) ........ savings of $9
installation of Compass Mirror $0 ... (manutention $30 + tx = $34.50) ... savings of $34.50
Tinted Windows 0$ tax ........ (Tinted Windows tx on $200 = $230) .... savings of $30

Total Savings of More Than $7,000.00

My real costs on:
$31,255 + tx - new buy 30 km on odometer (mechanic's road test)
$161.21 tx incl - buy compass integrated to mirror HomeLink auto-dimming
$190 (tx incl of $28 - RDPRM + A/C)
$200 (tx incl of $30) - Tinted Windows
$65 (tx incl ) - Perimeter Shock Sensor (Alarm-complément)

Every thing above detailed on bill of sale + all add-ons are warrantied by Mazda for not only 1 year ; but 3 years ... since installed at time of purchase before delivery .

So I think you can do better if you shop the dealers
