I’m new to the whole forum thing so please forgive me for any fauxpas. I’ve had a look using the search to look through posts relating to fuel injectors and fuses but haven’t put my finger on an answer…
well, a bit about me and my problem…
I've been driving my 323F GXI diesel for 2 years now and after some adjusting I do enjoy how it handles. I was a Vauxhall Cavalier girl before then!
Many moons ago I used to do my own work on my Cavaliers but after almost loosing my fingers twice I gave up. My Mazda has just over 100,000 on the clock and is starting to have some problems. In the last year I’ve changed the starter motor and have just done the calipers. It’s got a slight leak from the fuel pump. It recently came to a stand still out of the blue, the fuel injector fuse had gone. I replaced it, did some miles and it went on me again, luckily just as I arrived home. After I’d replaced the fuse the first time I noticed that there was an occasional slight juddering, as if the fuel flow was being disrupted. Now I’ve changed the fuse again, it wont start, it’s turning the engine but it’s not catching.
I’m low on finances by now and I don’t know what to do next. Any advice really appreciated.
