hi all ive got a mazda 6 with the r2aa (mzr cd 2.2) engine. im currently trying to rebuild due to bottom end problems ive been looking for some time now for a manual on this engine im wondering if anyone can help or can tell me what the torque formulas are for this engine this is the first time ive done a engine rebuild so any help/advise would be much appreciated

Just checking, what year is your Mazda 6?

I know for a fact the GH 2008-2012 factory service manual for NZ & OZ is lacking bottom end rebuild details & specs. Maybe a UK or Euro spec manual might be more revealing.

 

Its a 2009 mazda 6 gh 2.2 ive got a diagram but it doesn't say anything about the oil ring
