Default should i do it?

should i go in and buy the CX5 tmrw and trade in my honda crv - i can't drive that and i'm sick of paying for something i can't drive. i have to spend more $ cuz of the depreciation but - i'm just gun shy after buying the wrong car the first time.

trying to make a decision soon cuz i think the extra $500 incentive is gone by end of day tmrw

I am a Mazda fan and it is your money. In light of that I say "do it". But don't blame me when you get buyer's remorse, after all it's your money and your decision.

Was that helpful?

The CX-5 has gotten great press all around, so it's a pretty safe bet as far as crossover SUV's are concerned.
The only thing I might caution you about is the AWD system, if you were even considering that model. It seems there are some inherent problems with it, and from what I've read, those that have the FWD's are much happier about them.
As TP says, though it's your money. You will have to make and be responsible for the final decision.
Shop carefully.

Default wow thanks

i haven't found a FWD yet they seem to be hard to find. Been driving around for a while in one again it seems to bother my neck and shoulders no matter what position i'm in i kept adjusting. I"m not sure it's the vehicle for me. I"m beginning to think i might have trouble with any of the new cars i don't get it the seats are comfortable for the most part. but i think now i've driven enough to knowi better not rush in - i need to think about it - maybe just sell my honda to carmax and walk away and take a loss and start saving $ again to get back the $4k i'm losing. don't know what else to do. i'm too scared to get anything else right this minute. that's really good info about the AWD though appreciate it!! hadn't read that anywhere. FWD would be more affordable too

Default SUVS - maybe not

i may need to give up on SUVs who knows maybe all cars but i think i'm going to think about cars now that i've tried two SUVs and my neck hurt in the CX5 so not gonna get it and of course i'm stuck with my honda - until i trade or sell.

maybe a mazda 6? although i see the touring comes with leatherette seats - that isn't appealing - i want cloth seats they sound like vinyl - yikes - hot guess i need to try different makes of cars now - geez louise i'm so frustrated i'm about to sell my car to carmax and forget about it all

Maybe you should go the other way around: find the seat first, the vehicle second.

If you are lucky you already have the vehicle, you just need that seat. Contact Recaro and Corbeau.

Corbeau is famous as well: Look at the VX2000 and the LG1.

I hate the looks of something like this but it may work for you:
TushCush:

Also drive Volvo, Saab, Mercedes Benz, BMW, VW, Porsche, Lincoln, Cadillac, Lexus and so on. The purpose is to find a seat that establishes a bench mark for you.

And here is some reading which only goes to show that you have to try and try ...

Please, keep reporting back on your painstaking process of finding the one that works.
