WHAT 2 BUY?? $1000 TO SPEND
6'ers, I just purchased a '04 Mazda 6 but want to make it sweet. It has the V6 auto in it but I would like to make it extremely fast and good looking with only spending around a grand on it.
So far I am thinking: Tinted windows (not included in the 1k to spend), and fog lights (not included). So I still have a grand to spend on it to make it damn fast and sweet looking.
Any ideas???? I still have a warranty so I have to be careful not to void it in the meantime......
Badge removal? Cold air-intake? Sparks & Wires?

I am not current on all the mods for the 6 but I know that in the general auto mod process one grand wont get you very far, i would try for the few things that make a big impact, performance exhaust, intake, and definately upgrade the ignition system (plugs wires etc.) that is a great place to start, and hopefully you will have enough to get that far..........modding vehicles is an addiction, you cant just stop at one grand, you will continue to pour more and more money into the project and then buy something else and start over again. Thats just the way it works. hope that helps.

Exhaust upgrade won't do much on a 6 without new headers. So for $1000 you could probably do full headers/y-pipe/exhaust. Or you could get lightweight wheel and high perf tires. Or new tires and the CP-E intake-best gains from a CAI.

Where do you get some of these parts at? Do you know if it will void my warranty? Anyone in Indianapolis?
I checked out Nismo.com (japanparts.com) that the dealer told me to but it didn't seem like they had anything cool for my car and they were a little pricey.
I'm trying not to void the warranty on the car but still sport it in the mean time.
