Default Whats up! New from Buffalo, NY

Whats going on. I'm Kevin from Akron, NY which is in the Buffalo area.

I drive a 6s v6 standard. Love the car and have some minor things done.. nothing special.

Figured I'd jump on the forum due to setting up a mazda meet in Niagara Falls, ON Canada. I need to get a newer picture but have not had the chance due to the weather here and salt just killing the cleaning. lol

well heres what I got for now. let me know what you think.

Wow! You don't see too many V6 manuals. What year? '04? '05? I think '05 was the last year they offered the manual/V6 combo. After that it's auto-tragic all the way.

The snows (winter weather) of Buffalo are legendary where I'm originally from. How have you managed to keep the car looking so good with all that?

Welcome to the forum!!

They did make them in the 06-08 in a v6 but very rare to come across. this is an 04 6s. I'll get more pictures as soon as things clear up here. had some work done at the body shop but this was a picture before any of that happened. still looks solid though. 120,000 miles as of now. got it with 71,000 2 years ago. took the molding off. removed the bose and swapped out with a pioneer 7in lcd dvd/cd player. polk audio 6 1/2 component fronts, 5 1/4 components in rear. planet audio 1200watt mono amp old school gen rockford 12in in a ported box. 2 vodoo caps mounted on a nicely made framing in the trunk. a kenwood amp to all 4 speakers. wired the dvd player to work with a flip of a switch instead of ebrake. ipod adapter to control the entire thing on the head unit.

speed6 tail lights now. tints. different grill. mostly debadged some minor things. if I had the money I'd go much different on this car.

as for buffalo weather. its snowing again today. haha but im use to this crap. drive the worst highway for it. the 219 which gets pounded by the lake effect till the lake freezes. love driving in it at times. but hate driving in traffic in the snow!!!!

So anyone care to inform me where you can post a Mazda meet... not just for mazda 6's but all mazdas. we at www.6crew.com are going to hold an international mazda meet in Niagara Falls, ON Canada. this will be held most likely the 2nd week of June. This event usually is a Friday evening to sunday occasion. I know I am new on here and things just get over looked on new members, but as a heads up... we had about 15 mazda 6's last time anywhere from Indiana, New Jersey, NYC, Mass, OH, and a bunch from Toronto.

please let me know where I can post this and also if any of you guys would possibly be interested.

Well, since we don't have a specific "meets" section you could try posting it either in either Off-Topic, or Sights and Sounds?
If the meet involves any track time Street/Strip might be the place for it. But we discourage street racing passionately, so any reference to that should not be posted.
We have a number of semi-regulars that post shows and meets there.

not a racing meet by any means. just a meet to have some fun.. drink, check out various cars and check out the falls.. it was a fantastic time last time. some great and funny moments.

Ill get that on the off topic section next time.

you can check out the list here of who is attending if you want as of right now. just with 6's
