Well welcome aboard Kristal.
I once knew someone that had an '05 6 the same as yours... Blazing Orange is the color.
Theirs was an S, or 6 cyl model. Is your a 4 or 6 cyl?
Be sure to post up some pictures of it.

*edit* Ooops! I was afraid, even as I was writing this post that the name of the color was wrong.
The ACTUAL name of the color 1st gen 6 series you have is..... (drum roll, please) Blazing Copper!!
It just came to me now.

Well it certainly looks burnt orange to me too, and being in burnt orange country (UT) I should know, but Mazda calls the color Blazing Copper.
Yours look exactly like the one my former coworker had, and I'm guessing that it too is a 6 cyl car?
A rare color, and a hatchback too?

What do I drive???

Mmmmm... Sadly, we don't really do meets here. The forum is too small and spread out to find enough people from one area to go.

Yes, I believe it to be a very rare color. I have only seen a few myself over the years. Let's face it, it's not to everyone's taste. You have to have a descriminating eye to appreciate it.
The 3 series came in another copper/orange color for the first few years too, but that too was discontinued. It took me a while to appreciate then in that color, but now I do.

And if it's a Man you are looking for.... I believe Dale (shipo) is free!!
(He'll never forgive me for this one. I'm so bad!! )

i hear about meets all the time like in orlando latly and some in tampa?
u would think theres alot of people driving them that more people would go to meets?
i seen the old oranges and i didnt care much for them, i like the brighter colors i wanted a blue but to me they were over rated, maybe bc i always see that color, so i wanted something diff and that catches more eyes i guess lol

haha waiting for the right guy, im not a female who comes on here to look for a guy, but if it happens it happens, i want to learn more about my car lol. i dont think theres much Leg Humping on here lol witch is also good, just bc a girl joins alot of guys attend to wanna hump them lol i havent seen that on here as for Dale lol i dont see why hed never forgive u lol unless of course hes married lol

Geez, don't know how I got roped into this discussion.

Richard, thanks for thinking of me and Kristal thanks for being such a good sport about this. I'm delighted to say that my wife and I are happily married and recently had our seventeenth wedding anniversary; three weeks before our son had his seventeenth birthday.
